The point is behaviors (fruits) are simply manifestations of beliefs (roots) that hide underground and out of sight. When roots remain in the dark, they get bigger and stronger. In worst cases, it can gain strength, destroy the foundation house. How are roots killed? By digging them up and exposing them to the sun. Roots that are dug up and thrown onto the pavement will shrivel up and die and the fruits will inevitably disappear.
