Old adages like, "I wanna grow old with you" and "you and me forever" have meaning when seen through the lens of the missional-incarnational. If marriage is a divine institution created by God, it must exist only as a means by which God is making himself known in the world. It must be connected with the story of creation, the fall of man, the redemption of man, and the restoration of man. What if marriage plays a part in the restoration of mankind?
