C.S. Lewis on Lust

My friend sent me this tweet from C.S. Lewis this morning. 

"Lust is a poor, weak, whimpering thing compared with that richness & energy of desire which will arise when lust has been killed.”

The lie of the enemy is that gratifying lust will end in happiness, but usually ends in guilt and shame.  I'm so thankful that God has surrounded me with men who are constantly bombarding my mind, phone, and heart with truth that confronts my struggles and gives me a venue to choose freedom.
